Cashews + Coffee + Adaptogens
This recipe is adapted from Pinch Of Yum. Tiff shared it with me earlier this year and ever since, I'm way too excited about blending cashews into my coffee. The creamy goodness that blending up a cup of hot coffee with a handful (about 1/4 Cup)cashews (I use raw cashews) brings to my life is just so good. The recipe is so simple.
Just mix up a mugful of hot coffee with 1/4 Cup Cashews in a good quality blender for 30-45 seconds. You can add a sweetener if you like (maple syrup takes it to the next level), a pinch of sea salt and I like to add Ashwaganda.
It's an adaptogen (helps your body cope with stress and change- everything from environmental stresses to anxiety), boosts the immune system, has anti-inflammatory properties and is a libido booster.
